Lucknow: A major state-level meeting of traders from across Uttar Pradesh will be held on 8th, as the Akhil Bharatiya Udyog Vyapar Mandal and the Uttar Pradesh Yuva Udyog Vyapar Mandal prepare to convene their Pradesh Karyasamiti (State Executive Committee) meeting in the state capital.
The decision was taken during a core committee meeting of state office-bearers, held in Lucknow under the leadership of National President Sandeep Bansal. The meeting will take place on Krishna Paksha Shashthi of Vikram Samvat 2082 at the International Buddhist Research Institute, Gomti Nagar, starting at 11:30 am.

Providing details, State Spokesperson Suresh Chhablani, along with State Senior Vice President Upendra Nath Tripathi, General Secretary (Organisation) Anupam Agarwal, Organisation Minister Javed Beg, and office-bearers Purushottam Marodiya, Ashwan Verma and Anuj Gautam, said that trader representatives from more than 60 districts of Uttar Pradesh are expected to attend the meeting.
Key issues to be discussed include strengthening the organisational structure of the traders’ bodies and deliberations on pressing trader-related problems. Important decisions are also likely on matters such as market cleanliness, competition with online trade, observance of National Youth Day and Indian New Year, issues related to raids and sampling surveys, and the functioning of the Trader Security Cell.

The meeting will also focus on increasing youth participation in the organisation, immediate formation of assembly-wise units, district and city-level group meetings, and reactivating senior and experienced trader representatives. A structured action plan will be prepared on these subjects.
In addition, discussions will be held on organising a statewide “Swadeshi Sankalp Yatra,” with preparations to take the campaign across the entire state. The organisers described the upcoming meeting as a significant step towards uniting traders across Uttar Pradesh and addressing their collective concerns through coordinated action.
